Academic Welcome Details

On the Luton campus

Welcome to the course.

We are excited about meeting you and supporting you in your academic journey. If you have thought about working with children and young people, but are not quite sure in what capacity or role, then Childhood and Youth Studies (CAYS) will be perfect for you. As a team, we pride ourselves on our relationship-based practice (something you will learn all about in your first semester teaching). We work hard to build community across our course and encourage our students to build connection with both their fellow students and staff. 天美传媒ing CAYS can open doors to many opportunities, and will give you an overall grounding in understanding policy, practice, safeguarding, development and theory regarding childhood in its broadest terms - meaning you will have a really good foundation regardless of what path you choose. We recognise you are all on your own individual academic journeys and will each have your own strengths, interests and ambitions. Our job is to support you on your way, and ensure you have every opportunity to get the most out of your studies.

We look forward to meeting you in induction week and getting to know you.
