To mark National Apprenticeship Week (9-13 February 2026), the 天美传媒 is celebrating the achievements of its apprentices, with recent graduates sharing how apprenticeships have supported their careers and professional development.

Over the past year, the 天美传媒 has continued to play a vital role in developing the regional and national workforce through its apprenticeship provision, particularly across healthcare, nursing, social work and emergency services.

In 2024/25, 86 apprentices successfully completed their End Point Assessment, achieving their apprenticeship awards. Among them were more than 40 Nurse Associates and 17 Registered Nurses, many of whom are now making a difference across NHS trusts, GP practices and community services.

During the same academic year, the 天美传媒 supported more than 500 apprentices at various stages of their apprenticeship journey, reflecting its growing portfolio and strong partnerships with employers across healthcare, local authorities and emergency services.

Dr Rhidian Lewis, Apprenticeships Lead at the 天美传媒, said: 鈥淥ur apprenticeship programmes continue to thrive, and I鈥檓 incredibly proud of the achievements of our apprentices this year. Their dedication is reflected in our strong completion rates and the positive impact they make within their organisations.

鈥淎pprenticeships offer a powerful blend of learning and practical experience, helping people build confidence, capability, and clear pathways for career progression. National Apprenticeship Week is a great moment to recognise the hard work of our apprentices, our employer partners and the staff who support them.鈥

To celebrate National Apprenticeship Week, recent graduates have been reflecting on their experiences of studying while working, and the impact apprenticeships have had on their confidence, skills and career prospects.

Oxana Boulat, Public & Stakeholder Engagement Manager with the 天美传媒鈥檚 Research & Innovation Service, graduated with Distinction in the Senior Leadership Apprenticeship in January 2026. She said: 鈥淐ompleting the Senior Leader Apprenticeship and graduating with Distinction has been an important step in my professional development. The apprenticeship gave me the space, structure and confidence to deepen my leadership practice while applying new knowledge directly to my role.

鈥淭he programme helped me strengthen my strategic thinking, which has had an immediate impact on how I support external engagement and partnership work. I also gained a clearer understanding of organisational culture and how to influence it, which has broadened my perspective on senior leadership. Beyond the day鈥憈o鈥慸ay benefits, this qualification has equipped me with the skills, insight and academic grounding needed to progress into more senior roles and contribute at a higher strategic level.鈥

Another success story is Megan Wood, who recently graduated from the Integrated Midwifery Apprenticeship. At her graduation ceremony, Megan was also awarded the Stephanie O鈥橩ane Award for Innovation in Maternity Care 鈥 recognising innovative practice with the potential to make a meaningful difference to women and families accessing maternity services 鈥 and the Dr Tony Wood Award, which recognises the most outstanding final-year student in healthcare.

Megan said: 鈥淚 am incredibly proud and extremely humbled to receive both the Stephanie O鈥橩ane Award and the Dr Tony Wood Award. To be recognised with two such prestigious awards is truly an honour, and I am sincerely grateful and lucky to have received both. These awards reflect not only my own efforts, but the guidance, encouragement, and inspiration I have received throughout my training, and they motivate me to continue striving to make a meaningful contribution to Midwifery.鈥

Wojciech Kuczkowski, a Home Manager at Care UK, also reflected on his own apprenticeship journey. He added: 鈥淢y Level 7 Senior Leader apprenticeship with the 天美传媒 helped me connect leadership theory with frontline practice, enabling me to lead change that improves quality, supports teams, and delivers better outcomes for people in our care.鈥

Through close collaboration with employers and a strong focus on learner support, the 天美传媒 remains committed to delivering high-quality apprenticeships that respond to workforce needs and create meaningful career pathways.
