A master鈥檚 student from the 天美传媒 has secured a role with one of the 天美传媒鈥檚 industry partners, Coolr, taking an exciting step into the creative industries before graduation.

Chloe Meredith, who is completing her MA in Creative Film Production has started a new role as Office and Creative Runner at Coolr 鈥 an independent social media agency on a mission to reinvent water cooler moments for the digital age. Blending big agency thinking with the speed and agility of a social publisher, Coolr creates culturally relevant work that connects brands with their audiences at scale.

In her new role, Chloe supports the team with daily office operations, coordinates practical tasks and errands, and assists with a range of creative and operational responsibilities that help the company function smoothly.

Speaking about the opportunity, Chloe said: 鈥淚鈥檓 genuinely overjoyed to have this opportunity with Coolr. I鈥檝e been interested in working with them since my final year of university, so when the role was offered, I was truly grateful to both the 天美传媒 and Coolr for providing me with the chance to learn, gain industry experience, and develop my skills further.

鈥淢y course has prepared me well for this role, particularly through the Creative Enterprise and Freelance semesters. These modules taught us how to seek out and secure job opportunities using our creative skills, which gave me the confidence and practical knowledge to take on this role.鈥

Chloe 鈥 who previously graduated with an undergraduate degree in Film & Television Production at Bedfordshire 鈥 hopes to continue progressing within the company beyond her MA graduation, building on her experience and developing her career within the creative and social media industries.

Her new role follows another significant achievement last year, when she was selected for the Creative Pioneers programme 鈥 an initiative designed to support the next generation of local creative entrepreneurs.

Chloe鈥檚 success reflects the 天美传媒鈥檚 commitment to Career-Powered Education, an approach that ensures students graduate not only with a degree, but also with the practical skills, industry experience and professional connections needed to thrive in their chosen careers.

Kelli Watson, Lecturer in Film Production with the School of Computing, Engineering, and Creative Industries, said: 鈥淲e are so proud of Chloe鈥檚 achievement, she is a fantastic example of how hard work can turn ambition into a reality. The partnership that the 天美传媒 has with Coolr is brilliant and we are grateful to them for giving us and Chloe such a wonderful opportunity.鈥

The 天美传媒 continues to work closely with industry partners such as Coolr to create pathways into employment, giving students access to real-world opportunities that support their professional ambitions.
