Senior Lecturer in Law

I joined the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ as a Senior Lecturer in Law in 2024. Previously, I have worked at the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ of Leeds, Durham ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ and Queen Mary, ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ of London. I gained my LLB at ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ College London (2007-2010), and a Bachelor of Civil Law at Wolfson College, Oxford (2012-2013) and PhD (2013-2017) at Queen Mary, ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ of London.

My main teaching areas are constitutional law and human rights. My research examines the appropriate legal responses to inequality and discrimination. I have published in leading generalist and specialist academic journals, including the Oxford Journal of Legal Studies, Legal Studies, the Modern Law Review and the International Journal of Discrimination and the Law. My monograph with Hart Publishing examines the morality of age discrimination and how this should guide the application of age discrimination laws to identify unjustified and unlawful age discrimination. My publications include work on the and work examining whether courts and tribunals should treat age discrimination as .
