About the course

Our MSc in Cyber Crime, Terrorism and Security gives you the opportunity to critically examine the evolving landscape of technology and the online world; how these changes impact crime and deviance; and how to protect the cyber realm. You explore key areas in depth including information security, cyber criminology, cyber law, cybersecurity, ethical hacking and human rights. The course offers a cross-disciplinary learning experience, developing your understanding of the technical and criminological impacts of the emerging technologies and digital trends that pose threats to security, as well as the cybersecurity measures that protect against these threats. You apply your theoretical knowledge in practical, hands-on sessions, using simulated, real-world scenarios.
